Hello my name is azna and im here to talk about why pets are such an important part of my whanu:
do you like Pets? Well imagine not having a pet? Who would you cuddle and give aroha too? Who would keep you fit? Who would eat all your food scraps? Pets are important because they can be your friend.
Joy aroha
If You don't have a friend you have a Pet. Ok well My pet kowhai who is a cat, he Gives Me Aroha And joy, like other pets should. I love Kowhai. because he has a fluffy belly and he rolls around purring, he has the loudest purr.
Eat food
When I drop food On the ground my Cat Kohwai Will eat It all up. What other pets clean up your food scraps? Dogs, pigs, sheep, horses, all these pets are great because it means you don’t waste food.
Also pets are good For When you get Cold
You Can get wool from Your Sheep, they also
provide food like chickens, they give you
eggs, cows give you milk and aslo...
Ride
When you don't have a car you can Ride Your horse or a camel, elephants, tigers And Cheetahs.
sence
Some pets like Dogs can also Sense Your Feelings if you are Going to have a Heart Attack or break Down. Did you know that puppies are trained to be guide dogs and they also wear orange and red harnesses on their back? They help when there are blind people and they walk them around well crossing the road .
Exercise
Another reason pets are great is pets can give you exercise When you walk them Around and give Them Food and water that gives you exercise. And When you're lonely they can be a friend to Play With.
They also have very beautiful wings and Feathers like parrots and pukekos, Hummingbirds and peacocks and Woodpeckers.
They also keep you calm when you're scared and when you're scared to go to the toilet they will follow you to the bathroom. Also When you are asleep they will jump by you and sleep by you.
Pets also teach kids responsibility and compassion . They also look after children when people come into your home without you knowing.
They also keep us healthy, and relieve stress. They also look after the author's pets like keeping the sheep in the barn or keeping them safe and keeping the horses in the barn can give your pets exercise and keeping the hens in their nest boxes.
Thank you for listening to my speech about why pets are such an important part of my whanau and that's why you should buy a pet.

The day my taste buds stoped
I tasted a brown, yellow, rocky, buttery scone with a mountain of cream on top. This is with dark poison berry jam and I smelt a delicious berry Scone with cream and crispy crumbs. When i ate it it was
scrumptious!!
When it went down my throat it gulped in my mouth and i felt all the crumbs rip apart. I saw a scone on a plate with homemade jam and cream that looked like a pile of snow.
It was amazing!
3 cups Edmonds standard flour
6 tsp Edmonds baking powder
¼ tsp salt
extra Meadow Fresh milk
75g butter
1 to 1½ cups Meadow Fresh milk, approximately
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 220ºC. Grease or flour a baking tray.
Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Rub in the butter with your fingertips until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Add the milk and quickly mix with a round-bladed table knife to a soft dough. For light and tender scones the mixture should be quite soft and a little sticky. Scrape the dough onto the floured baking tray and flour the top.
Working quickly, pat the dough out to 2cm thickness and with a floured knife cut it into 12 even-sized pieces, then separate the scones to allow 2cm space between them. Brush the tops with milk.
Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Place on a wire rack to cool, wrapped in a clean tea towel to keep them soft.
